Health Professionals have long used a variety of techniques and products for the treatment of lower limb muscular and fascial tightness, including tennis balls, golf balls, dog toys and even rolling pins!

" My worst, most recent injury was my right knee. I ruptured my Anterior Cruciate, my Lateral ligament, my lateral Hamstring and tore the capsule surrounding my knee. As well, I completely dislodged the lateral meniscus.

Needless to say, while I worried about my career, Medical staff were initially more concerned about me regaining a functioning knee and ever walking again without pain. My operation, one week after injury was, by all accounts, a resounding success. I then spent the next 12 weeks in a brace 24 hours a day. Rehab began two weeks post surgery and involved active exercise and muscle stimulation (while in the brace) as well as upper body, pelvis and glute stabilizing exercises to maintain strength.

Overall I spent nine months with Physios, Massage and Strength & Conditioning coaches doing two sessions a day, six days a week. I also spent countless hours doing remedial work to loosen my legs. I found the FOOTEEZ great for reducing tightness in my thigh and lower leg muscles.

Now that I am back on the field with my RED'S team-mates, I know the extra work was worth it. I'm happy to recommend Lockeroom products for injury rehab and for prevention & recovery. I wouldn't be able to get through all of our training sessions and games without them!"
